Some weeks are great, I feel like I'm on top of the world. Other weeks, nothing seems to work, engagement is low, sales are down, and it's hard to even get out of bed and open the laptop.
How do you all deal with the slow periods and stay motivated to keep grinding?

Hey everyone,

I've been lurking here for a while and finally decided to share my story. I came out as gay last month at 28, and I'm still processing everything.

For years I told myself I was just "picky" or hadn't found the right woman yet. The denial was real. But after meeting someone who made me realize what I was actually feeling, I couldn't ignore it anymore.

My family has been surprisingly supportive, though my mom did ask if I was "sure" about 20 times lol. Friends have been amazing too.

Anyone else come out later in life? How did you deal with feeling like you "wasted" time? I know that's not the right way to think about it, but the feeling is still there.

Thanks for reading ❤️

My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 months, but we've been long distance for the last 3 months since he moved for work. We're about 400 miles apart.

We video call every night and text throughout the day, but it's getting harder. The loneliness hits different, you know? We see each other every 2-3 weeks but it never feels like enough.

We're both committed to making this work, but I'm looking for practical advice from people who've been through this. How do you maintain intimacy? How do you deal with the jealousy/insecurity that creeps in?

Any tips would be amazing. Thanks! ?

I live in a town of about 15,000 people and we're trying to organize our first Pride event next year. We have a small but growing LGBTQ+ community here, but visibility is still really limited.

I'm wondering if anyone has experience organizing Pride events in smaller communities? What worked? What challenges did you face?

We're thinking of starting small - maybe a picnic in the park or a community resource fair rather than a parade. But we want to make sure we're being strategic about building support and staying safe.

Any advice would be incredible! ?️‍?

I've been struggling with anxiety lately and want to find a therapist who really understands LGBTQ+ issues. I've had some not-great experiences with therapists who were technically "LGBTQ+ friendly" but clearly didn't have much actual knowledge or experience.

Does anyone have recommendations for finding good mental health resources? I'm specifically looking for:
- Therapists who actually specialize in LGBTQ+ issues
- Online therapy options (I live in a rural area)
- Support groups or community resources

I've heard good things about Pride Counseling but wanted to get some real feedback before committing. Thanks in advance! ?

Planning a trip to Europe next spring with my boyfriend and looking for recommendations! We want to go somewhere that's not just tolerant but actually welcoming and has a visible queer community.

We're thinking 10-14 days, probably 2-3 cities. We love good food, museums, nightlife, and just wandering around interesting neighborhoods. Budget is flexible but not unlimited.

I've heard amazing things about Berlin and Amsterdam, but I'm curious about other options too. What are your favorite LGBTQ+ friendly European destinations?

Thanks! ✈️?️‍?
